In addition to compliance with the Williams-Steiger Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970 (OSHA), Guardian Construction has implemented a corporate safety program, which is based on positive communication between Guardian Construction, the Owner and the trade contractors on each job site. This program is intended to ensure that all contractors’ work practices are carried out safely and to serve as an additional tool in safeguarding the health and safety of all involved with each and every project. Some of the topics covered in the Safety Plan of Guardian Construction are as follows:

  • Corporate Safety Policies and Procedures
  • Contractor Safety
  • Hazard Assessment
  • Hazard Communication
  • Accident Reporting and Investigation Plan
  • Fall Protection for Construction
  • Housekeeping Program
  • Stairways and Ladders Safety Program
  • Electrical Safety Plan for Construction
  • Workplace Security Plan

All contractors on each job are provided the Guardian Construction’s Job Site Rules prior to commencement of work. Weekly tool-box talks, weekly foreman’s meeting and random safety inspections are all part of Guardian Construction’s commitment to provide the safest working environment for employees, trade contractors, project personnel and all visitors.
